Blog: Best Craft Beer to Bring to your 4th of July Parties

Want to bring someone that everyone will enjoy BUT is also American?  Check out my post below:

The fourth of July is a time for celebrating all things American.  And what is a better way to celebrate American things than by buying American made craft beer?  Every year Sam Calgione from Dogfish Head Brewing comes out and encourages people to buy craft beer during this holiday and avoid non-American beers (like Budweiser and Coors Light) since they are no longer owned by American entities.

Before I jump into my list, you should buy local any time you can.  Local beer directly impacts your local economy and will have the greatest effect on you and your local craft beer scene. But, if you’re standing in the grocery store or beer store aisle unsure of what to bring to your party, let me give you a quick list.

IPA & Pale Ales

  1. Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
  2. Founders All-Day IPA
  3. Bells Two Hearted IPA
  4. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
  5. Dale’s Pale Ale

Pilsners/Summer/Amber Ales:

  1. Founders PC Pils
  2. Bells Oberon
  3. New Belgium Dayblazer
  4. New Belgium Fat Tire
  5. Sam Adams Summer Ale

Radler (Beer and Lemonade):

  1. Sam Adams Porch Rocker

As I mentioned before, look for beers that are local to your area, but if you’re looking for a beer that both non-craft and craft beer lovers will enjoy, everything on this list should be welcomed with open arms.
