Beer God’s Notes

I’ve had this beer a few times and every time I have a beer more than once the gears in my head usually turn to figure out exactly what this beer would taste great with.  I was making taco’s the other night with ground turkey instead of beef (an easy healthier choice) with a new taco seasoning that I grabbed online and it occurred to me.  Let’s try this beer with tacos.

Well, my brain was working well that day because this combo tasted awesome, the little bit of heat from my tacos was washed away with the high-IBU Imperial IPA bitterness. It was a nice balancing act of heat and hoppiness.  Back and forth until the tacos and beer were both gone.
