What is the future of American Beer? Will the foam stop rising? Will brand variety continue? Lagers, Sours, Pilsners, Wheats, IPAs…Oh My!

Meeting of the Malts V with Dick Yuengling (Yuengling), Jim Koch (Sam Adams) & Ken Grossman (Sierra Nevada) is this Thursday, March 24, 2016 at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, Bethlehem, PA.

Three of the most successful brewers in the history of the United States together on stage for the first time, one night only.

Draft Magazine has named this event as the #12 (out of 101) rated beer experience bucket list for 2016.

The dinner event will feature five pints and four uniquely paired dishes. This event is must attend for any craft beer fan.

Not only will attendees enjoy toasting beers with this iconic panel, but will also receive souvenir glassware and have the opportunity to bid on autographed and collectible beer memorabilia not found in any store or brewery.

Check out the Menu:

  1. Opening Pint & Toast with local Allentown, PA Brewery Hijinx. Toast with Kung Fu Gnome, a Belgian style Blonde Ale brewed with Jasmine flowers. This refreshing ale pours a hazy yellow and is topped with a creamy white head. The seductive aroma of Jasmine draws you in while the subtle refreshing flavors keep you drinking.
  2. Spicy Tuna Roll served with Sierra Nevada Otra Vez, a tangy twist on the nearly extinct gose style. It combines the zip of prickly pear cactus with a hint of grapefruit for a bright and refreshing finish.
  3. Whiskey Smoked Pork Belly over Cajun Dirty Rice served with Yuengling IPL, a brew bursting with complex hop notes like an IPA, but with a well-balanced lager base that allows the Bravo, Belma, Cascade and Citra hops to truly shine.
  4. Jerk Chicken & Savory Waffle served with Samuel Adams Nitro Belgian White, a white capped and lively – the frothy white head of this distinctive nitro brew softly cascades into bright gold. The first sip reveals a smooth velvety taste with a light wheat character and hints of orange while an undercurrent of peppery spice adds a bright finish.
  5. Flour-less Chocolate Cake served with Beer Caramel and Yuengling Vanilla Ice Cream served with Weyerbacher Tiny, a Belgian-style imperial stout highlighting a malty, strong, roasted stout base with Belgian yeast that adds fruitiness and spices, resulting in a complex, tasty treat.

This legendary event will be Emceed by Beverage Industry Expert, Bump Williams.

United States Brewers Association (Colorado) President & CEO, Bob Pease, will also offer his views on the status of craft beer in the U.S. along with a Craft Brewers Conference preview.

Over 30 brewers will be in attendance to enjoy this event with ticket holders. Yes, you may toast and clang glasses with the creators of your favorite frosty!
