CAN you dig it? Fifty West Brewing Company Announces Second Annual Limited-Edition Can Release
Removable can labels double as ‘Golden Ticket’ for free entry to this year’s Fifty Fest on Sept. 17
CINCINNATI, OH. (August 9th, 2016)—In anticipation of their 2016 Fifty Fest on September 17, Fifty West Brewing Company has announced that their second annual limited edition can release will be sold at Fifty West Brewery and select specialty retail stores beginning this Wednesday, August 10. With less than 2,000 six packs hitting the market, you’ll want to head out to your favorite brew stop right away.
But, the fun doesn’t stop there. These special, limited-edition cans serve more than one purpose. Each can has a removable label with a ‘Golden Ticket’ that’s redeemable for one free entry into this year’s Fifty Fest. With six packs being sold at $9.99 and regular entry to the event at $10.00, it’s hard not to see the allure.
While last year the brewery decided to release cans of their Penny’s Pilsner and Rainbow Road Session IPA, this year the brewery decided to switch it up and release two long-time fan favorites: Doom Pedal White Ale and Coast to Coast IPA. Marketing Director Tommy Hemmer had this to say about the promotion, “We work really hard to create fun, engaging promotions, and we’re essentially rewarding our customers for drinking our beer with free entry to a big party. What could be more fun than that!”
Bobby Slattery, Founding Partner and Director of Operations for Fifty West, had this to say about the upcoming festival, “Fifty Fest is a great opportunity for us to show off our creative side. And every year we do our best to make the event bigger and better. We’re really excited about this year’s can release, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve got a couple tricks up our sleeves to make this year’s fest the best one yet. When it’s all said it done, we’re sure you’re going to have as much fun at the festival as we have planning it!”
In addition to this year’s Golden Ticket can release, Fifty West has a couple other bottle releases on the horizon, although they are not explicitly tied to Fifty Fest. Fans are told to keep their eyes peeled for the re-release of bottled Punch You in the EyePA, the release of TRIPA Triple IPA, and a very limited bottle release of 2016 Bourbon Barrel Aged Death Valley Shootout Imperial Stout.
