Beer God’s Notes

Original Tasting Notes: El Gose as my #showerbeer tonight. The salt tastes really good in this. It would be a great intro Gose. Very approachable.

As I say in my tasting notes, this is very approachable.  Honestly, this might be the gose that I tell people to try when they are trying to figure out the style.  So many of these beers are intense with salt and coriander, but this one is very subtle and really tasty.

I think the addition of lime really brought down some of the bite from the salt without ruining the tartness that is associated with this style.

If you haven’t tried any Gose’s yet, but want to know what you’re missing — give El Gose a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
