Brewery: Lord Hobo Brewing Co
Beer Style:  Double IPA
ABV:  9.5%

Beer God’s Notes

Consolation Prize is a Double IPA made by the crazy creative peeps at Lord Hobo Brewing in Woburn, MA.  A Double IPA at heart with a ton of hops and an ABV to match, Consolation Prize will win a lot of your hop-headed hearts over.  Not overly hoppy with a nice balance, this 9.5 percenter really does the damage to your liver while also being incredibly tasty and easy to drink.

Normally beers over 8%, especially IPAs and DIPAs have a syrupy body to them, this beer does not at all.

I feel extremely lucky that I live in an area that gets Lord Hobo on the regular.  I will definitely be on the lookout for more of this.
