Original Tasting Notes: Kook DIPA thanks to a friend from work for smuggling this home for me! This is a tasty DIPA

This Double IPA had a lot going on in it.  Tons of flavors assaulted my tongue at first sip.  KOOK DIPA was definitely a unique and flavorful Double IPA.

The first flavor I was able to pick out was a pineapple and citrus blend.  I couldn’t pick out the secondary flavor in it, but I had a feeling it was another type of citrus fruit.

Description

Exuberant tropical fruit aroma leads to juicy grapefruit, pineapple, and citrus flavors. This beer endeavors to be a prime example of a San Diego IPA with pale straw color, restrained malt character, a bone dry finish, and loads of hops from first wort to dry hop. Hop character is Chinook dominant, with supporting roles played by Amarillo, El Dorado, CTZ & Hull Melon hops.
