Not too much tangerine flavor. Easy drinking for 7%
The thing with Fruit IPAs is that they seem to either have too much fruit flavor or not enough. Sure this beer is incredibly refreshing, but it is listed as a Tangerine IPA. I expected to get a little more Tangerine flavor in it. Hop Nosh was a surprisingly good IPA with a nice flavor profile, and they didn’t do too much to it here, but it’s definitely a little lighter on your palate and easier to drink (which can be dangerous above 7%).
Still, kudos to Uinta for making a slightly in your face IPA a little lighter without losing ABV.
