Garden of Grass by Brewmaster Jack
Brewery: Brewmaster Jack
Beer Style: IPA
Beer God’s Notes
Garden of Grass was a really well balanced 7% IPA. I could tell while taking my first sip that this was going to come in around 7% just by the flavors, mouthfeel, and overall sense of the beer. There are just some IPAs that upon first sip you can tell that they’re made to hit that perfect 7% range.
Garden of Grass was my first beer from Brewmaster Jack and as soon as I finished it, I went right to one of their Double IPAs that I had cold and ready to go. I enjoyed this and would have enjoyed it on a hot or cold day. It’s just one of those all-around kind of IPAs.
Garden of Grass is our fourth rotating IPA. Coming in at 7.3% ABV and 70 IBU’s this beer is big and bold for its American IPA style category. Simcoe and Amarillo hops give dank grapefruit flavors galore. Experimental HBC 342 hops give a distinct watermelon background to the flavors.
