Beer God's Notes

This is light, like really like.  Definitely closer to a session IPA or a pale ale.  Nothing wrong with that.  Just lighter than I expected.  Stacy’s Mom inspired me to listen to the song by Fountains of Wayne while drinking this.  And it does fit this beer.  I can imagine this beer being really refreshing and crushable in the middle of a hot summer day — with that slight hop bite so you know you’re not just drinking your dad’s Coors Light.

@evilgeniusbeer inspired listening for this beer. Stacy's Mom Citra IPA

Description

Stacys Mom

Stacy’s Mom is our American IPA dry-hopped exclusively with Citra hops. Soft on the palate with extremely low bitterness, this is a great example of a new-school American IPA. Citra hops provide an explosive aroma of tropical fruits, lemon peel, peach and mango, complimented by a clean and slightly toasty malt base. Think you don’t like IPAs? Give Stacy’s Mom a try! She has got it going on, and might change your mind.
