Type: American IPA
ABV: 5.9%
Beer God’s Notes
This is better than I remember, it has a really nice hop bite, with a sweet finish (not overly sweet by any means). Last I had this I think it had aged in the store a little too long and the hops died off. I’m really glad I got a chance to re-try this. Absolutely delicious! This is a hop-forward brew, but the balance is still there. You’re not going to be assaulted like in some IPA’s (I’m okay with that choice too). If you can get your hands on this and you like IPAs, you will not be disappointed.
Description
Last Chance IPA, 5.9% ABV, is a full-flavored IPA that’s delightfully lacking in balance. Pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus are produced by the combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe® and Columbus hops.
Weyerbacher donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every drop of Last Chance IPA to small animal rescue organizations throughout our distribution area. These shelters offer dogs, cats and other pets their last chance to find a new home.
Have a glass and make a difference! Cheers!
