XPA 8.0 by Woodcock Brothers Brewing Co.
Brewery: Woodcock Brothers Brewing Co.
Beer Style: IPA
ABV: 6.5%
Beer God’s Notes
Original Tasting Notes: Lots of lemongrass. It has a lot of resinous pine in the start and if finished with a lot of citrus.
This was tasty! I’ve been really enjoying the XPA series, and you can’t get beer much more fresh unless you brew it yourself (or are friends with a brewer).
8.0 had a lot of lemongrass in the front of this. With some pine elements too. But it finished completely citrusy. I have no idea how this was accomplished but I like it. It felt like a pine vs. citrus hop battle in my mouth.
This is already sold out at pretty much every retail installation, but if you can get your hands on it, you should!
