I have a love-hate relationship with session IPAs.  I want to love them and most of the time they let me down.  They are usually missing flavor or have a weird aftertaste.  Anthem Session IPA was not one of these beers.

I was extremely surprised at how much flavor they were able to pack into such a low ABV (I had the can, but I have since returned it and there is nothing on the interwebs about this beer other than that it exists).  Okay, I take that back.  Untappd has it listed at 5.5%

At 5.5 this is actually “above” a session which is supposed to be under 5% I believe, but who’s counting.  Gun Hill was able to pack a ton of flavor into this session IPA and I will definitely be on the lookout for other beers from them.
