Brewery: Maine Beer Co, Freeport, ME
Beer Style: Session IPA
ABV: 4.7%
Beer God’s Notes
This was a really nice session IPA in all of its unfiltered glory. Look at the color that this beer gives off. Just seeing it makes me smile. The taste of it was a slightly hop forward session IPA that was pretty nicely balanced. I didn’t detect the normal “session” aftertaste that I usually do from most beers like this. There is nothing like fresh beer, and when I had Beer II it was super fresh adding to its already nice flavor.
Description
The Hop Program developed as a way to experiment with new hops and new hop combinations, and also incorporate different styles of beer. It is important for us to keep learning and growing as a brewery, and the Hop Program allows us to do that. Never standing still, and always moving forward are some of the goals we aim to accomplish through this series. We hope you enjoy each new Hop Program creation.
