Beer God’s Notes

Original Tasting Notes: Somethin’ Hazee Unfiltered IPA by @ellicottvillebrewing is an interesting one. It has a ton of lemongrass flavored hops. But only 5% and 100ibus

Yeah, so I got little to no haze when this was poured (I even poured half and then shook/rolled the beer in it to get all the “unfiltered” out of it) – nothing.  Another beer from EBC that’s new and interesting but ultimately a miss.  If this was marketed as a Lemongrass IPA it would have been a home run – but marketing it as “Hazee” and “Unfiltered” when it’s neither of these things AND doesn’t have the typical flavors, ABV, or IBUs as an NE IPA is frustrating. I understand that NE IPAs are all the rage – but put the time and energy into making something that actually qualifies for the style.
