Beer God's Notes

This is a style that I don’t normally fully enjoy.  I just feel like they are always lacking flavor. Steampipe was a bit different, though.  I don’t know if it’s because it was hot out (88 or so outside at 9pm) or if my tastes are evolving again.  But, I really found myself enjoying this.

Steampipe is one of those hot weather beers that you can just enjoy without feeling like you’re going to leave bloated or overly-hopped.

Otter Creek has really been stepping up their game lately.  Every new beer I’ve had from them in the past year or so has been really enjoyable.  Good job and bravo guys!

Now, I’m just going to have to make it up there soon!

We burned the rulebooks, and when the smoke cleared we created this counter-culture interpretation of a California-style common lager dosed with juicy hop flavors.

Mosaic and Galaxy hops shine through a golden, orange-hued lager that’s as clean and free as the open road.
