Beer-God's-Notes

I restart the blog that I (sadly) lost in a computer outage with a local beer. #DrinkLocal

I stumbled into Premier Gourmet the other day and saw this.  I was supposed to get some before it was made available locally, but the timing wasn’t didn’t work out for that.  It’s a hot and humid night, and this drank really easy.  It’s good, but not great.  I’m not really sure what else it needs, but I’m happy to be drinking something local.  It feels like they were going for something sessionable, but didn’t want to go session IPA.  Needless to say, they have a  gentle lead into the Buffalo market with an ESB/English Pale Ale.

Either way, this beer went down really nice on this hot and humid night.  It was tasty without being memorable.  I hope that the other offerings from NBB will be awesome.

This English Pale ale may appear ordinary but it’s far from your average brew; despite it’s classic Amber color, it breaks away from the pack by using all American grown fuggles hops for an earthy taste while showcasing it’s intrinsic herbal and citrus flavors. The subtle mixing of flavors creates a combination that’s made this one of our most successful brews to date.
