Beer God’s Notes

Original Tasting Notes/Comments: I went to take a pretty shot of this (really enjoyable beer) and my camera battery was dead. Had to resort to an iPhone picture instead. Anyway, thanks to @troublemakercatshaker for this really enjoyable @championbeer Hog Waller Scramble breakfast stout

Breakfast stouts hold a place in my heart.  There is just something about them that really make me smile.  Ever since my first Breakfast stout by Founders I’ve been hooked.  I’ve had some sub-par ones before too that had little-to-no coffee, or just not the right flavors, but this one is definitely an enjoyable one!

I want to give a shoutout to @troublemakercatshaker on instagram for leaving this beer for me.  I really enjoyed it, thank you!

For years, the Hogwaller Scramber was well-known in Belmont as out beloved Hogg truck ran kegs to our Tap Room. The Hogg lives on in our memories, and we brewed this complex breakfast stout with coffee and chocolate from Gearhart’s Fine Chocolates in tribute
