On Fleek by Stillwater Artisanal

Brewery: Stillwater Artisanal & Casita Cerveceria
Beer Style:  Imperial Stout
ABV:  13%

Beer God’s Notes

Original Tasting Notes: poured like motor oil. Tastes incredible.

This is a BIG beer.  And it’s done right.  There is a ton of flavors going on, but they all melded together to form this symbiotic relationship in my mouth.  Really, I’m not normally one for hyperbole, but On Fleek was… on fleek.  It was dead on what I was hoping it was going to be.

If you like stouts that pour like motor oil and have tons of malt, dark chocolate, and roastiness in them — On Fleek is for you.

Once this warmed up, the 13% wasn’t a factor anymore.  Cold, you could tell that this was a big beer.  After it sat for a little lots of the sugars and molasses came out of it, making it feel slightly lighter without sacrificing body.

Big, overhyped imperial stouts, amirite? This one on fleek tho. The most amazing collaboration ever with Casita Cerveceria.

A 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with dark sugars and molasses. The new beer is a collaboration with Greensboro Bend, Vt.-based brewery Casita Cerveceria,

will be an ongoing release brewed at Two Roads Brewing Co. in Stratford, Conn.
